Myrtle Beach Bike Week 2014 Schedule of Events

BikeWeekTile2

Founded in 1940 and celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, the Myrtle Beach spring bike rallies have grown into the Grand Strand’s biggest annual event with hundreds of thousands of visitors bringing their bikes to the beach each May.

Over the years, as the event has grown more and more places have begun to host their own rallies — individual events marketed by a certain business or promoter.

However all of these individual events, along with countless organized rides, parties, contests, concerts and other events combine to make up what’s become one of the top biker events on the East Coast.

With the Harley rally and Atlantic Beach Bikefest occuring across three weekends in May, the month has become one of the busiest times of year for the Grand Strand, drawing in well over half a million visitors for these events.

In order to keep riders informed about what’s going on this year we’ve compiled this HUGE list of 2014 bike week events.

• Note: This is a list of many of the most popular events happening during Myrtle Beach bike week 2014. This list will continue to grow and a list of daily events will be added as more events are announced, so if you have an event you’d like to see added, please contact us here.

Atlantic Beach Bikefest

Black Bike Week Events

The annual Atlantic Beach Bikefest takes place over Memorial Day weekend, this year from May 23-26, 2014. Just like the Harley rally, events for this sport bike-filled celebration are spread across the Grand Strand, however a large concentration of the traffic will be focused on the Atlantic Beach area, where the U.S.’s largest African-American bike rally was founded in 1980.

Here’s a look at some of what’s happening during this 4-day celebration (click any date for a full list of events):
